Calling all future veterinarians! Join us at Mill Mountain Zoo for Dr. Zoolittle Day, a fun-filled celebration of veterinary sciences designed for young animal lovers. Bring your favorite stuffed animal for a check-up at our Stuffie Clinic or even adopt a new cuddly friend at our Stuffie Adoption Station! Enjoy hands-on activities, fun crafts, engaging keeper chats, and visit with local veterinarians at special vendor booths.

Junior Zookeeper Camp
Campers get a behind-the-scenes look at the life of a zookeeper, including cleaning, feeding, medicating, and enrichment activities. Explore animal behavior, identify birds, test water quality, and gain hands-on zookeeper experience!

Junior Field Technicians Camp
Teens will practice field techniques for identifying animals using tracks, scat, and anatomy, plus compass navigation, water testing, and radio tracking. Learn how fieldwork supports conservation, native species, and invasive species management.

International Wolf Day
Join us as we celebrate International Wolf Day and shine a spotlight on one of nature’s most misunderstood and incredible animals! Learn about wolves’ vital role in healthy ecosystems, the challenges they face in the wild, and how conservation efforts—like those supporting red wolves—are helping protect their future. Throughout the day, guests can enjoy special educational opportunities, keeper talks, and activities focused on wolf conservation and awareness.

Zoo Boo 2026
Join us at Mill Mountain Zoo for a spook-tacular Halloween celebration all weekend long! Guests can enjoy trick-or-treating throughout the zoo, festive decorations, creepy crafts, keeper chats, vendor booths, and our fan-favorite Costume Contest. Come dressed in your best costume and celebrate Halloween with family-friendly fun for all ages. Tickets will be available in advance and day-of, with pricing information announced in August/September 2026.

We are elated to include a photo spot at our celebration provided by Showtime Photo Booth, the premier photo booth rental in Indianapolis. Their unique touch will add a memorable element to our event.
