Mill Mountain Zoo is pleased to announce the arrival of the “Durham” pack, a family group of 8 red wolves. These wolves were transferred from the Museum of Life and Science in Durham, NC on January 13, 2020.

We wanted to take a few moments and update you on our Go Fund Me campaign that recently ended and how it played out for us. In the end, we raised a total of $8,330, which was above and beyond or target of $5,000.

The Mill Mountain Zoo is pleased to announce something entirely new, Acoustic Friday's. Once a month we will be open late until 7:00 pm on a Friday. In addition, we will have live acoustic music from Joy Truskowski from 4:00 - 7:00 pm.

The Mill Mountain Zoo is pleased to announce the birth of 3 Pallas’ cat kittens. The kittens, two boys and one girl, were born on March 21, 2017 and are now 4 weeks old.
