🦇 Two Days of Tricks, Treats, and Zoo Adventures! Zoo Boo at Mill Mountain Zoo, Presented by ValleyStar Credit Union!

Saturday & Sunday, October 25–26, 2025 | 10 AM–5 PM (Last Admission at 4 PM)

Roanoke, VA— Get ready for one of Roanoke’s favorite fall traditions! Mill Mountain Zoo’s annual Zoo Boo returns Saturday, October 25, and Sunday, October 26, from 10:00AM to 5:00 PM, offering two full days of spooktacular family fun, candy, costumes, and creature encounters!

Proudly presented by ValleyStar Credit Union, Zoo Boo is a fun, outdoor Halloween celebration with activities that are perfect for kids and families. Guests of all ages are invited to dress in their favorite costumes and enjoy a day filled with trick-or-treating for tons of candy, crafts, animal encounters, and festive photo ops throughout the Zoo. Visitors can also meet local businesses and organizations handing out treats as part of our popular “Treat Trail.”

“Our team loves bringing the community together for Zoo Boo each year,” said Niki Voudren, Executive Director. “It’s a wonderful, fun, family-friendly way to celebrate Halloween while connecting with animals and nature in a safe, happy environment, while helping support the Zoo and our mission of conservation and education. We’re especially grateful to ValleyStar Credit Union for serving as our presenting sponsor again this year, helping make this magical weekend possible for families across the Roanoke Valley.”

Guests can look forward to:

🐾Animal encounters and keeper chats featuring some of the Zoo’s most mysterious and misunderstood residents

📸Vendor booths, including Francosis Photography, Angels of Assisi, Roanoke SPCA ,and Facepainting by Toni

🎟️Admission & Tickets: Zoo Boo is a special ticketed event and not included with regular Zoo admission. Tickets can be purchased online at www.mmzoo.orgor at the gate (subject to availability).

  • Seniors (55+): $14
  • Children (3–11): $13
  • Children 2 &     under: Free
  • Members save $3 per     ticket
